This installation comprises of a video composition featuring a black and white analog photograph of the trees in the Grünewald forest, Berlin overlaid with footage of a sleeping girl.
The work aims to create a feeling of dislocation in the space through the use of contrasting perspectives (the photograph was taken looking upwards, whereas the video was shot from above). The work is the visual translation of the feelings of dislocation I was experiencing during this period of my life, due to my constant moving from country to country; Greece, Germany, Scotland.
