Photographic Installation

Assembly Gallery, Glasgow Scotland

The photographs depicted isolated objects and compositions, which I re-arranged and photographed. My objective was to create within the gallery space an image of a piecemeal, distorted, selective memory. The title echoes the composition in the central picture in which my Grandmother and I are posing.
Through Butterfly, I wished to study the relation between my Grandmother and myself and further examine the relation between childhood and adulthood, humorous and macabre, past and present, life and death.
